Happenings:
Welcome to the last quarter of the year! Seems odd that we lost about a quarter of the year due to a quarantine situation.
HOLY INVENTORY BATMAN! That is right, we have a huge stock of pumps here in the US. Our current count exceeds 300 pumps of all sizes and stages. This is great news. We can ship most of your needs the same day.
Other good news on the DP front is an upcoming revision to the DP Pumps USA website. Current information, a new layout, and a few more links will be included.
Finally, DP Pumps USA is live on Linked In. Search us out and follow us. We are constantly adding new content. We are always looking for new items to feature so send us your pictures and info.
HDL has a few unique offers that might interest you. Our NPT valves are all available as both Cast-iron as well as stainless steel. The larger flanged valves also have the ability to be spray coated with a number of materials, including stainless steel, tungsten carbide (and any other metal you can think of) a myriad of elastomeric compounds. These coatings make our valve ideal for abrasive and corrosion resistant service. Balls are available in Nitrile or Polyurethane and can be obtained in a floating type for air release applications.
What we have found is that the applications for the GreenPumps line are everywhere. This time we want to show that OEM applications may be a great opportunity. The pump shown below is installed in a Hydrogen generating machine. Yep, they are using the GreenPumps in the creation of hydrogen from water. It is involved with the creation and does not have a direct contact with the Hydrogen, but this is just one of many options that give us a new sales path.
We also have included a cross reference to go from Caster to Green Pumps as an attachment.
PEMO has made themselves known in the aggregate, ceramic, mining and utility markets with an awesome pump for sludges and slurries, but what about other markets like water and wastewater? Shown below is a Pemo pump being used in a Lime Slurry application at a water treatment plant. We replaced competitor’s pumps which were less efficient and difficult to maintain. Just another idea for a market to consider.
The big news is that Garbarino has recently reduced the delivery times on all their pumps! We recently have been quoting lead times of 26 weeks, but now lead times are down to as few as 13 weeks. Hopefully, this reduction should help you close more orders.
Tip for the Quarter:
Social Media: one of the big things that we have been working on is keeping our social media accounts current. We have a DP Pumps USA and a GPM page on Linked In.
Also watch as we are updating all the different webpages for DP Pumps USA, GPM and HDL over the next few weeks. This will be an easier way for us to get you current info more than once a quarter with Linked In and the webpages.
The Future:
A recent announcement is that ASHRAE is looking to move the event to March, if they hold it at all. We will not know more till mid-October, and when we know, you will.
Since this is the last quarter of the year, we will be reaching out to you to see what happens when you rub your crystal ball for 2021 sales projections. Please do not base it on this year as 2020 should be forgettable.
Best Regards,
Connor, Dan, Tom, Debbie and Paul
